About the Artist

Created to Create

"We have become his poetry, a re-created people that will fulfill the destiny he has given each of us, for we are joined to Jesus, the Anointed One. Even before we were born, God planned in advance our destiny and the good works we would do to fulfill it!  Ephesians 2:10 (The Passion Translation)

Christine James is a jewelry artist and painter primarily in the medium of alcohol inks. She has been know in her circles to create fun and sometimes even musically themed jewelry. She recently discovered painting with alcohol inks, out of a desire to have original works for her CD and original music covers. She found this painting medium to apply beautifully to her jewelry making, and give a visual dimension to her musical inspirations.

As an independent music teacher, Christine James is particularly interested in helping musicians develop tools that will prepare them for musical futures in today's world (composition, improvisation, studio recording, leading worship, playing or singing with performing groups, etc.)  She strives to give her students a positive, comprehensive experience, through lessons, workshops, independent practice, and  a variety of  performance opportunities.
